Restore Nature Now
To the EU Commission, Council and Parliament:
As citizens from across the EU, concerned about the rampant degradation of nature, we call on you to pass an ambitious and legally binding Nature Restoration Law with clear time-bound and results-based targets for 2030 and 2050 that all Member States will have to comply with. You have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to turn the tide on the nature and biodiversity crisis and put ecosystems, including farm land, on the path of recovery.

The Nature Restoration Law vote passed in the European Parliament - it will be negotiated with member states next. For months, citizens across the world, scientists, youth, organisations, businesses and others tirelessly urged MEPs to stand for nature. The fight isn’t over though: The proposal was watered down significantly, so now the pressure is on to return ambition and binding targets as it moves forward. Let’s keep pushing!

Millions of bees across Europe are dying, and their homes are being devastated. But tomorrow, the EU could vote for a bill that would protect their habitat and give bees and the nature they need a fighting chance to recover.
Conservative politicians are siding with the pesticide industry and other powerful interests against a strong law. In conversations with parliamentarians, we’re hearing that we might lose this fight – as politicians seem to think that people don't care about this issue.
And it's not just bees: over 81% of Europe's nature is in poor condition. Our forests, rivers, and grasslands… it's all under pressure. That's why the ambitious bill, aimed at the healing lands and waters that have degraded, and restoring life to them, is such a game-changer!
For those who care about bees, now is the time – sign and share!
