Stop China's indoctrination of Tibetan children!

To the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk:

We are horrified by the reports of China's policy of forcing Tibetan children to be indoctrinated into boarding schools until they forget their language, culture and religion. They face physical abuse, as well anxiety and depression. The Chinese government is trying to cover it up, but you have the power to launch an investigation to get the truth into broad daylight, and stop the erasure of Tibetan culture.

Stop China's indoctrination of Tibetan children!

Three out of four.

That’s how many children China is forcing into boarding schools in Tibet, where they face abuse and are indoctrinated until they no longer speak the same language as their parents.

Many of these children often spend weeks or even months without seeing their parents, who say they’re simply not allowed to visit. Cut off from home, Tibetan children are only taught Mandarin and the love of the Chinese Communist Party, until their culture and religion are erased.

Now, China is trying to cover it up while rooting out Tibetan culture for 1 million children. That’s where we come in.

Reporters exposed the scandal thanks to brave Tibetan experts and teachers – and a UN investigation could force the truth of China’s indoctrination schools into broad daylight. Tibetan activists have been urging the UN to take action – and a big petition can help get the world's attention!
