በCOVID-19 ምክንያት በወጣው እንቅስቃሴን የሚገድብ የአስቸኳይ ጊዜ አዋጅ መነሻነት ሠራተኞች ከሥራቸው፣ተማሪዎች ደግሞ ከትምህርት ገበታቸው ርቀው በአብዛኛው በቤት ውስጥ መዋላቸውን ተከትሎ በሁለት ወራት ውስጥ በአዲስ አበባ ብቻ 101 ወንዶችና ሴቶች ሕጻናት የመደፈር ወሲባዊ ጥቃት ሰለባ ሆነዋል። በዚህ መሠረት ይህ #ዝምአልልም በሚል የተዘጋጀ የፊርማ ማሰባሰቢያ ለተደፈሩ ህፃናትና ሴቶች ድምፅ ይሆን ዘንድና ተገቢውን ፍትሕ እንዲያገኙ መንግሥትን ለመጠየቅ የተዘጋጀ ነው።
#ዝምአልልም
* ወንዶችና ሴቶች ህጻናት ላይ እየደረሰ ያለው ወሲባዊ ጥቃት እጅግ በጣም አሞኛል!
* ይህ ጉዳይ የልጆቼና የሀገሬን የነገ ተስፋ እንዲያጨልምብኝ በፍጹም አልፈቅድም።
* የሴቶችና ወንዶች ህፃናት መደፈርን በፅናት እቃወማለሁ!!!
* ወንዶችና ሴቶች ህጻናት በመደፈር ከሚደርስባቸው የሰዕብና ስብራት በጠንካራ የሕግ ማዕቀፍና አፈፃፀም እንዲጠበቁልኝ እዚህ ቅፅ ላይ በመፈረም አቤቱታዬን ለመንግስት አቀርባለሁ! ይህንን ቅፅ ስፈርም አስገድዶ መድፈርና ወሲባዊ ጥቃት አሰቃቂ የሰብዓዊ መብት ጥሰት መሆኑን በመገንዘብ የኢትዮጵያ ፌደራላዊ ዴሞክራሲያዊ ሪፑብሊክ መንግስትን በህዝብ ተወካዮች ምክር ቤት በኩል የወንጀለኛ መቅጫ ሕግ አንቀፆችን፤አንቀፅ 620(1)፣ አንቀፅ 620(2)(ሀ)፣ አንቀፅ 620(3)፣ አንቀፅ 626 (1) እና(4ሀ) እንዲያሻሻል እጠይቃለሁ።
በዚህምመሰረት፣
* ሴቶች ላይ ለሚደርሱ የመደፈርና ወሲባዊ ጥቃቶች የጣለው የእስራት ቅጣት ከፍ ብሎ ከ20 ዓመት ፅኑ እስራት በመጀመር እስከ እድሜ ልክ ፅኑ እስራት ቅጣት ከፍ እንዲደረግና የገንዘብ ቅጣትንም እንዲያካትት እጠይቃለሁ።
* ጥቃቱ በሴትና ወንድ ህፃናት ላይ በደረሰ ጊዜ የጣለው የእስራት ቅጣት ከፍ ብሎ በእድሜ ልክ ፅኑ እስራት እንዲያስቀጣ ማሻሻያ እንዲደረግበት እጠይቃለሁ።

This petition platform is setup to voice the pains of voiceless boys, girls and women who were victims of rape and sexual abuse following the in-house confinement due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The fact that young girls, boys and women have to go through rape and sexual assault pains me! I won’t let rape break my kids’ and eventually my country’s future! I am their voice and MY VOICE COUNTS! By signing this petition, I acknowledge rape and sexual asault are severe human rights violations that constitue Torture, Inhuman and Degrading Treatment and request the Government of Ethiopia for; The House of Peoples’ Representatives to amend the current Ethiopian Penal code Articles; Article 620(1), Article 620(2)(a), Article 620(3), Article 626 (1) and (4a) to provide more strict punishment for rape and acts of sexual violence against minors (boys and girls), women, and adolescents.
* In the case of acts of sexual violence against women and adolescents I request the punishment to be raised and start from 20 years of rigorous imprisonment to life sentence and fine.
* In case of minors, I request the punishment to be raised to life imprisonment.
