Zuma: Don't Sign the Secrecy Bill!
To President Zuma:
The Secrecy Bill (the Protection of State Information Bill) passed by the National Assembly still has vital flaws that must be addressed. We call on you not to sign it into law and instead either return the Bill to Parliament for redrafting or send it directly to the Constitutional Court for review. A bill that touches on the fundamental rights like freedom of speech warrants the utmost sensitivity.

The President has the power to send controversial bills to the Constitutional Court before they are enacted to make sure they don't violate our most precious freedoms. But he's only going to delay the Secrecy Bill's corrupt protections for his own government if there's a massive nation-wide outcry. We only have days to make sure he hears it.
He's already feeling the heat, but the bill could be signed any day now. Sign now on the right, to call on Zuma to protect our constitution and follow the law, then forward this to everyone.
