Set up SIT Against 15 Tainted Union Cabinet Ministers
India A.
started this petition to
Government of India, Prime Minister of India, President of India, Union Cabinet Ministers
Since the past one year we have been fighting for Janlokpal but in the recently concluded budget session, the Lokpal was again put in deep freezer by sending it to a select committee. It has been 44 years since the Lokpal was envisioned but it still seems to be a distant possibility.
Even in the current Union cabinet there are 15 tainted ministers, many of whom would have been in jail had a strong Lokpal been there. We demand setting up a special investigation team (SIT) for probing the charges against these ministers and fast track courts to pass the judgement in a time bound manner.
If the demands are not set up by 24th July then there will an indefinite Anshan from 25th July.
We believe that Anna ji has shown us the path by sitting on fast thrice in the past one year. We have requested him not to sit on fast this time. Thousands of members of IAC Team (core committee members as well as citizens across the world) would be sitting on fast. Anna ji will be in Delhi with the IAC activists to motivate and guide us.
