STOP THE LOGGING IN POIGAN!!!

We must mobilize to stop the massive deforestation by the forestry industry in Poigan, one of the most spectacular places in Quebec, located in La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve. From the beginning of July, logging companies such as Resolute Forest Products have been destroying not only the ancestral lands of the Algonquins, but also the natural habitat of numerous animal speciessome of which are vulnerable.
For algonquin families who depend on the forest for food, education, medicine and housing, time is running out. They have never agreed to this. Rather, they have a clear vision of how a forest can sustain more jobs while its trees are standing.
The time for action is now!
