With her recent witch hunt against American Muslims, this time GOP Congresswoman Michele Bachmann has gone too far. So far that a group of respected foreign policy experts are now demanding Bachmann gets the boot from a key Congressional committee. If tens of thousands of us back the plan, Congressional leadership won’t be able to ignore this common sense call.

Bachmann recently accused high level government officials -- including Hillary Clinton's deputy chief-of-staff and even Bachmann’s fellow Congressman from Minnesota -- of being tied to a Muslim Brotherhood conspiracy to infiltrate American government. Her accusations are crazy, unfounded, and dangerous -- especially coming from a member of the Congressional committee responsible for fact based analysis of intelligence and foreign policy. But with momentum building to sanction Bachmann, even amongst prominent conservatives, a people-powered push can make sure the House Intelligence Committee isn’t a vehicle for promoting anti-Muslim conspiracy theories.

The leadership of the House doesn’t get to choose who the people elect to Congress - but it does get to choose who serves on the House Intelligence Committee.
