Equal Marriage in Northern Ireland

The Governments of Scotland, England and Wales have committed to bringing forward legislation which will allow same-sex couples to get married. However, this legislation will not extend to Northern Ireland.

The Equal Marriage Northern Ireland (EMNI) campaign exists to ensure that all couples in Northern Ireland, regardless of their gender or sexual orientation, have the same marriage rights as their counterparts in Great Britain.
