As concerned citizens across India, we call on you to stand up to Europe and refuse to sign the India EU Free Trade Agreement. This deal would fatally undermine our profitable generic drug industry and leave millions of poor without access to critical medicines. Our proud and important role should be protected.

India’s role as producer of affordable, vital medicines for the world is threatened by a proposed free trade deal with Europe. This would crush our industry and endanger the lives of millions of patients in India and all over the world.

But if we show Prime Minister Singh that our world-leading pharmaceutical sector has massive support we could force him to stand up to Europe and save our industry.
