Signing Africa's death sentence

In 5 days, a US-led coalition of Big Oil-captured countries will try to kill efforts to stop catastrophic climate change, effectively signing Africa's death sentence -- we have a chance to stop it.

The US, Canada and Saudi Arabia are bullying other countries to abandon a global climate treaty -- necessary to stop the deadly rise in the earth's temperature. They don't care that climate change will turn Africa into a giant desert, and they refuse to listen to the scary science that proves climate change threatens us all. They just want to keep making profit from oil. It's a staggering failure of morality and global responsibility.

Only a Green Dream Team of Europe, Brazil and China have the clout to stand up to the Big Oil bullies, stop this moral outrage, and save Africa and the planet. Their negotiators tell us the public is distracted by the financial crisis and doesn't care about this issue -- let's show them how wrong they are.
